Lack Of Drive

Lately i've lost my drive to do school work with only a couple of weeks left...I mean that's normal considering the time of year it is, i'm exactly twenty days away from summer break. I just feel like I lost my drive extra early this year, i'm just hoping I can snap out of this for the last couple of weeks of school and work on my final which I have to create completely on my own. I do think that passing through grade school and even parts of college without really trying has ruined me. There are time when I know I should study or need to study and won't and that is a habit that I am really trying to break. I also think not working and lack of homework has contributed to this when I was working I didn't feel as lazy because when I wasn't at work I had to do homework or get zeroes but class with out homework give me time to slack off because I won't study because I never had to. This weekend i'm going to try and just chill (until tomorrow I do have math hw due on Monday) take some mental health time and try to hit these last couple of weeks hard. Going to try to write blogs more often just to keep my blood pressure down (lol) and to keep my writing, grammar and spelling sharp. If anyone is reading this I just want to say have a nice day, and this is just something I had on my mind and needed to get on paper!

Christmas

This year I went to New Jersey for Christmas for the first time in a long we went home for Christmas. Things we pretty well nobody got into any major arguements this year for the most part everyone got along and had fun during Christmas. We left Wednesday morning, and because of all of the traffic we didn't get to New Jersey until late Wednesday night. Thursday morning we had breakfast and then went shopping for Christmas dinner and started cooking for Christmas dinner. Friday morning I got money from my grandparents, parents, and aunt and uncle. I bought my parents dvd's, and my mom and dad particulary my dad got a lot of presents while we were in Jersey after all of that we had Christmas dinner and watched movies together. The Saturday after Christmas we had this HUGE breakfast. We had sliced apples with cinnamon, smother shrimp, grits, hash, turkey bacon and sausage, beef bacon and sausage and pork bacon and sausage (becasue a lot of people in my family don't eat poison [pork]) waffles, eggs, and potatoes. It was my parents, grandparents, my aunts and uncles, my cousins, me, my grandpas cousins, my cousin Shenita invited her baby fathers family and my uncles baby mother, her mother and her brother. That breakfast started around like 7:30 as far as prepping the food, and no lie people didn't stop eating until almost 5pm and that was just breakfast. After that we all sat down and watched Up which was a movie I have been wanting to see. It turned out to be a very good movie even better than I expected, and it was really deep to be an animated children's movie. After spending the holidays with part of my family for the holidays I was so happy to be back home in my own bed but I can't wait until July for our family reunion, and November because I am going back to Jersey for Thanksgiving and that should be fun!

Bebo's Birthday Dinner

Yesterday my good friend Sasha who I refer to as Bebo, had a dinner for her 21st birthday. So me, my bestfriend/ex-girlfriend Kendra, Bebo, her cousin Brittney, Malaysia, Jazz, my brother Brandon and his girlfriend Zackiya all went to the Cheesecake Factory for Sasha's dinner. She wanted to get dressed up because your 21st birthday is a special occasion. So we got dressed and went to Charlotte of course I had on Polo. Sasha had on this shorts jumper and heels that she wore to dinner, she looked nice, her cousin and Zackiya had on dress too, and everybody else had on jeans and nice tops. Sasha rode with me and Kendra to Charlotte while her cousin, Malaysia and Jazz all rode in Jazz's car and Brandon and Zackiya rode in Zackiya's car. We had a pretty nice time at dinner we all talked and got along, we laughed and joked. Walked around the mall and looked at stuff that none of us could really afford to pay for in the long run, and smelled some of the worst cologne and perfume in the history of cologne and perfume. After we finished walking around the mall we made the journey back to Spartanburg. Sasha, Kendra and I all went back to Sasha's room, and talked for awhile until Kendra decided she wanted to drink so I bought some Four Loko and we drank a little. While we were in Sasha's room drinking and talking her cousin Britt came over and we talked and drank while Sasha got ready and they went out and me and Kendra went to my brother Brandon's apartment. But the cool part is we all are planning on doing this all over again before Christmas break hopefully we all have the money to do it and really enjoy ourselves like we did yesterday!

My bday and everything surrounding it!

I started celebrating my bday on Friday but I went to Fort Jackson with my parents to do some shopping and to get my bday money then I came back home I really didn't have anything planned , so I text my ex [tip] (who i really just started talking to again about a couple mouths ago) and she didn't reply so the last couple weekends me and the homies started going to this club and sitting in the parking lot and catching girls going in and coming out and the week before my bday we had pretty good results so we decided to do it again. So when we got to the club I saw somebody point at the car, and it kinda looked at like my ex who didn't reply to my text but at that point I didn't car enough to ask or stop and see. After we got tired of doing that we just rode around Greenville for awhile and ended up sitting in my driveway. I started drinking and eventually went in the house and went to sleep. Saturday was different I woke up and my brother had spent the night and we had watched tv and stuff for awhile and I hooked up my mom's Wii that she bought when we were at Fort Jackson after I showered and got dressed I drove around looking for hotels to stay in for my bday so I could get drunk and chill b/c i hadn't moved out yet so I couldn't do it at home. I eventually got a room at the Embassy Suites, and bought $60 worth of alcohol and some fruit and made some drinks, we was supposed to have some girls come to the room but that didnt work out this girl was supposed to come up for my bday and got drunk and sick and her cousins made her go home and that was cool and my friends from Upstate didn't come see me at all and neither did my ex[tip] that I mentioned earlier (more on her later). My homies, Pop and Ant came up and they bought their homie Q with them, and my brother was their of course. We all were having a good time and I got drunk, but he kept asking me questions and when i'm drunk my fuse gets alittle short and we got into a minor arguement and I ended up going to sleep. Sunday (June 7th) was much better and it was the actual day of my 21st birthday. I went to lunch with my parents, did some shopping for my dad. Later that evening went to the movies with my ex Kendra who is also my bestfriend, my aunt called me and I kinda side swipped a car while parking something I have never done in my life. I went into the movie and it took my mind off of it b/c it was just that funny, The Hangover is def one of the best movies of the year so far. Came out and the cops were waiting on me but they were really cool, there was no damage to the other guys car or my car other than some scratched paint but that asswhole wanted me charged like it was a hit and run, and it wasn't I left my car next to his, and just waited until the movie was over. Went to Fridays with Kendra and bought a drink and had a great meal. Then me and Kendra just talked and rode around and listened to music which we so often do. My ex [tip] who says she wants to be cool, and says she's my friend (this is def not the case) didn't even wish me a happy bday, and this time last year we were dating and spent my bday together so I know she knows when my bday is. I've come to the realization that she only talks to me when she needs something, so she basically tries to use me but it's cool that's life. Then the last couple of days i've been looking for a car and my parents were like we'll talk about it and the two cars I was looking at were sold. I found another car today and my dad came in and was like we are upset about the last "accident" u were in (even though they told me they werent) and we will talk about whether or not we'll let you get the car, even though we all know they won't and i would be happier and would respect the situation more if they just said yes or no we aren't gonna let you get the car, but we'll see what happens!

Haircut!

So I finally went and got my hair cut yesterday. It was a long time coming and i kept talking about but never got it cut, but I finally just said screw it and went to the barbershop. It's kinda weird having short hair since I hadn't had short hair since the summer before I started high school. I like it though I feel more of a grown up now than I did with the braids and that's why I decided to cut it for my 21st birthday. It's got a couple of mixed repsonses but I think it will grow on people especially when it gets a little longer I had to get it cut mad low for the first hair cut but it won't be this low forever and it'll be right once I get my waves back!

Eastern Conference Finals

So I have been watching the Cavs and Magic series and the Magic are leading that series 2-1(a series that the Magic should be leading 3-0). Much to the chagrin of the NBA because it is blantantly obvious that they want the NBA Finals to be Lebron vs Kobe. The calls in all 3 games for Cavs against the Magic are so ridiculous. Last night Lebron James lowered his shoulder and tried to run through Mickael Pietrus and it should have been a charge because might I add this is not football but they called a blocking foul. Anderson Varejao should have been ejected after fouling Dwight Howard and then after the play was dead snatching the ball from him and bumping into Dwight like he was trying to provoke a fight with Dwight Howard he did this twice and nothing was done about this by the refs. Another ridiculous call was the call that ultimately was the reason Dwight Howard fouled out of the game and that was a foul on Lebron James behind the 3-pt line which was clearly all ball and there was zero body contact. In Game 2 Mo Williams felt like Dwight Howard intentionally hit him in the head while he was trying to blok Mo's shot, and Mo Williams threw the basketball at Dwight Howard which should have been a technical foul atleast if not an ejection especially with the ref standing right there when it happened, and all he did was pick up the basketball and walk of. These were just some of the utterly ridiculous calls from the games in this series, I didn't want to make this blog long for no reason. I am a huge sports fan, and all I ask is to see good basketball games not games that seem to be predetermined because the league wants Lebron vs Kobe in the finals. Refs should not decide games players should.

My Bruh's Bday

Yesterday was my big bruh Kinney's bday, after I went shopping and all the bruhs came from visiting our bruh Donte (his girl just had a beautiful baby girl not to long ago, Congrats again my G) we all met up at Gateway aka the Blackhole because most times after you come to Gateway you don't leave last week for big bruh Joe's birthday we tried to leave for like 3hrs before we actually left. This is basically what happened last night. My bruh Dreak his girl made us drinks most of the night before we left, and that was cool and we was getting blitzed in there before we finally got out of Gateway to do what we were gonna do. The plan was to go to Moon for my bruhs bday but I didn't have on any clothes, and the girls who came over there didn't want to go to Moon either, so we ended up back downtown for the second weekend in a row. We were just walking around and enjoying the effects the alcohol was having on our bodies and just chilled for a couple hrs. After we pretty much walked around every inch of Downtown Greenville, Kinney was ready to leave so he left and had one of the girls take him to his car. The other bruhs were trying to go somewhere else, but at this point I was ready to go so I left too and headed home. My other two bruhs went back to Gateway until Club Moon had let out.
